I've tried so many products over the years, but I think I have finally found one I can stick with for quite sometime with Godiva beauty products. I didn’t need to make crucial decision. I started using Godiva fruit acid and revitalizing cream and Godiva LicoWhite lotion, Godiva face and body wash with stay on sunscreen and Godiva Green Tea sun block. About a month and a week after beginning use the results started becoming more apparent but then I thought it’s just me and my own beauty regimen like exercising regularly, eating healthy food (lots of fruits and vegetables), and cleaning my face before sleeping. Friends and relatives started noticing my skin and everyone was asking what I use. They’ve noticed a younger, cleaner looking skin. This never happened before. All I can think of are the products I started using since I went home to the Philippines.

It is inevitable to develop wrinkles as we age. We can only do so much to slow down the process. Use of sun block is one anti-aging product I use every time, although I hate it because it leaves my skin greasy. I particularly recommend the Godiva sun block cream. I was completely shocked when I put the Godiva sun block on and all I saw was my skin, no oiliness that I had to try and conceal with powder. This is great because now I can go completely foundation and powder free. How liberating!

I used to have clear and enviable skin for a guy. But when I graduated from high school, things started to change. Pimples started to appear on my face and it frustrated me. So I tried different products and stumbled upon Godiva Licorice Anti-Blemish Soap and I paired it with a different facial cleanser that contains salicylic acid, and the results were amazing. Not only did my pimles disappear, but the spots and redness also became less visible.

When I learned that I was pregnant, I started using Godiva Anti-Stress lotion for my tummy to prevent strethcmarks (during my 1st trimester). I use this after showering and before going to bed. I also use this when my tummy is very itchy and I want to scratch it. So far, I am already advancing to my 6th month of pregnancy and no signs of stretchmarks yet!

I started using Godiva Transparent Soap, Lotion and Cream on the pigmentation on my arms. I can truthfully say these are the very first products that have actually given me any visible results after 7 days of use.

Hi there! I had to take the time to share my experience with your products. As an African-American female, I feel it is my duty to let it be known that this product really does work on black skin.

To begin with, my problems in particular started at about age 11. I started getting ‘dish rags’ on my face, or as my dermatologist calls it—seborrheic dermatitis. It starts like dandruff but after it flares up, the skin gets really raw and sore. I’m always left with very light patches on my skin, particularly around my hairline and eyebrows, the inside of my ears and around the creases of my nose.

Before last year, I had never gone to a dermatologist for it. When I first started getting it, I would just walk around like that until it completely healed and the color came back ... Then as I entered my teens, things CHANGED. Enter bleaching. Certain bleaching products hit the market and I thought I had found the answer to evening out my skin. I used two products in particular that contained hydroquinone. I would put them everywhere except the lightened marks.

Typical teenage acne became a part of the problem and I started bleaching on a regular basis to get rid of those scars. I did this to my skin until I hit my early 20s. That’s when the acne stopped, but the adverse effects of bleaching with hydroquinone really started to show.

The skin on my face was by then becoming abnormally darker than that on my body. As I progressed to my late twenties, it got even darker despite the fact that I had stopped using the bleaching products.

So here I am with a face that’s 4-5 shades darker than normal, with ‘dish rags’ and the melasma I developed on my cheeks and forehead during pregnancy . . . Now I don’t mind being black, but the quilt-work patches and ‘two-tone’ body color had to go.

By now, not only as a chemical engineer but especially as a consumer, I know better than reach for hydroquinone ever again. I also know that skin resurfacing methods might make things worse for my skin in terms of pigmentation. I finally saw a dermatologist and he gave me some steroid cream to help control the ‘dish rags’ and then suggested that I try an over-the-counter hydroquinone product to lighten the melasma.

Little did he know that I’d been there, done that, and if I would have shown him my legs versus my face color, he probably would have choked on the word hydroquinone. Anyway, I was crushed because this was his only recommendation . . . So I decided to give up at that point. I figured the melasma would clear once I stopped nursing (my child) . . . However, a funny thing happened this summer. I entered an herbal company’s website . . . What I came up with was information about licorice root extract as an effective and safe skin lightener . . . as I did more research on the net, I began to feel that this was something safe, fast-acting and therefore worth trying. That’s what led me to your site.

I ordered the GODIVA Licorice Skin Whitening Starter Pack and as promised, I started to see NOTICEABLE results within a week. Now, mind you, prior to starting this regimen, I spent two weeks driving down the coast in the hot August sun. So I was about as dark as I can probably get. I took pictures beforehand so that I could judge if the products were working, but I didn’t even need the photos to see the difference. That’s how noticeable it was. It wasn’t due to natural fading of a tan either, because that usually takes months to happen on my skin. And I started using the same products the same week I returned from my trip. My skin also felt much softer and smooth to the touch . . . So here I am about to order for the third time and my only wish is that I could order larger quantities, or better yet, walk to my nearest drug store and pick it up whenever I ran out.

Thank you so much for bringing this product to the market. It’s REAL, it WORKS and I’m a living testimony to it. My complexion is completely clear now after only about two months of use. My OVERALL skin color (and skin texture) is almost what it was when I was a child and I couldn’t be happier. The melasma is completely gone now too . . . So hat’s off to you GODIVA! Thank you.

Sometime in December 2003, I was reading a feature in one of my hometown online news and there's a feature about Godiva Natural Skin Care. For the longest time, I have been trying to find -- as well as tried -- other products to whiten my underarms (it looks like this is the most important concern of women).

I went to their website and read, read, read . . . although skeptical (and that I am since I have tried many others and they didn't work!) that the testimonials are real and true, I still decided to order hoping against hope that it will work.

So for the next 3 to 4 weeks, I used the GODIVA Licorice Whitening Regimen for the Underarms. Slowly but surely, I saw changes. It has a lighter shade now, and of course protected from wetness. Thank you Godiva Natural Skin Care, I feel confident to wear sleeveless shirts anytime now.

Now for the face, the GODIVA Licorice Whitening Toner is just awesome! It's alcohol-free and very gentle on my face. I'm also using the GODIVA Fruit Acid Revitalizing Complex at night before going to bed. Again, very smooth like silk and gentle as well, my skin feels soft when I get up in the morning. I just started this about one week ago.

Lastly, the GODIVA Squalane Cool Anti-Stress Lotion for the hands, legs or arms . . . it's quite a creamy lotion so you don't need a lot of it when you squirt from the bottle. Just a dime size goes a long way.

I was born with Snow White-like skin but it has become darker. When I used Godiva Licorice Skin Whitening Soap (been using Godiva Licorice Anti-Blemish Soap), I was astounded. Ang galing pala talaga (It really is good). All the other brand results take too long to notice, or they cause redness, peeling or stings. The best talaga ito, maganda yung pag-whiten, pwede pa magpa-araw (This really is the best, it whitens beautifully, and you don’t have to hide from the sun).

I think about a week pa lang ako gumagamit nito (I think I have just been using it for a week). I forgot to put deodorant, may Physical Education class pa naman kami that day (we even had a Physical Education class that day). I was surprised because though I perspired, I did not smell awful.

I just wanted to say that the Godiva Licorice Whitening Soap and the Astringent are amazing! I've been using them for about 2 weeks now, and I've felt a noticeable difference in my skin. I have used many products that contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, but these just ended up drying my face. Not to mention that they smelled abysmal. I also like the smoothness of my face after washing it with Godiva Whitening Soap. And the Whitening Astringent felt cool, not stinging, while removing excess dirt, oil, and make-up. The Godiva Whitening Powder was soft and velvety, and evened my skin tone very well, without appearing cakey or fake.
